I cannot emphasise enough how delighted we are with our curtains, roman blinds, cushions, curtain poles and hold-backs that we recently received from Michelle at Finishing Touches. All the work is beautifully finished and extremely well made. Thank you Michelle for once again doing such an excellent job! I have recommended you to all my friends which is easy to do as everyone coming to our home always admires your work whether it is in our sitting room or our four year old's bedroom which is very pink with beautiful 'cupcake' curtains. Michelle is able to provide a full service - she is extremely knowledgeable about fabric and has a wonderful eye for detail. Michelle and I do all our business through telephone or e-mail and I have always found that she is able to understand and interpret my needs exactly. In fact, Michelle makes the whole process of dressing a room so much easier and more cost and time-effective as I tell Michelle what I'm looking for and she then sends me the relevant samples thereby saving me hours of wasted time pouring over samples. Michelle, unlike other suppliers that I have had dealings with, asks me questions about lining, finishing touches etc. This makes the crucial difference! Michelle's work is not only beautiful, but practical too. For example recently I selected some gold silk fabric which Michelle then advised would need a blind underneath to protect it from sun damage. How refreshing it is to find someone to anticipate what we need and then provide it!
